Today marks the first day since I think 1976 that the Canadian dollars is equal to the US Dollar. And it isn't because the Canadian dollar has gotten stronger so much as it is the US dollar is weakening. SHIT! And here I was excited that when my mom and aunt came to visit in a few weeks they would have some deals. Pffft. Nopers. Instead they'll find it is more expensive here because of the extra taxes. Argh. NOW what am I going to use to entice visitors to come and visit me if it's not the big bang for the buck?? Sigh.
