Are you my mommy?
People say Chihuahua’s are dogs that are yippy and look like rats. I take issue with this, of course, as I have one of these adorable pooches myself. Some of you that have read me elsewhere know my little princess as Ipo, which is Hawaiian for sweetheart! She is my little bundle of joy and is a source of much laughter with her super funny personality.
Ipo has gone through so much with me. Dog owners around know what I mean when I say she is just like my child. I make sure she pees and poos before I do in the morning. I make sure she is fed and has an ample supply of treats available to her. If I was homeless and starving she would eat before me and get the majority of the blanket if I was sleeping on the street.
She is so damn funny! And she KNOWS who mommy is and gets upset when I leave. She gets upset when CK leaves. She runs and prances all over the living room when we return and gives kisses kisses kisses! She snuggles in close in bed at night and sleeps right between CK and me. She is a guard dog and does bark when she hears someone at the door. She protects us! Nothing wrong with that! She’s a lover and has so far managed to change everyone who has had an opinion that small dogs aren’t ‘really’ dogs. Everyone falls in love with her after being with her for about 5 minutes.
So given all that, and many many more qualities that I could on about with her and brag til I’m blue in the face, I can’t say that she would ever nurse a squirrel! No, she would rather chase squirrels. However, CK stumbled across this amazing dog on CNN.com. I about died! Watch it in its entirety and your opinion of Chihuahua’s will certainly change! You will want to run out and get one for yourself!
First, for those of you who have not had the benefit, I introduce to you the one and only princess…..Ipo! (Note the picture with the pillow…..it says “the princess sleeps here”. Too funny eh?)
